Inspired by the vibrantly colored, earthy Alpine liqueurs of the 1970s, Scarlet Radice [rah•DEE•che] Amaro offers a Japanese twist to classic root-driven liqueurs by using thirty botanicals, many of which are estate grown, with some taking up to three years to cultivate. Bright and complex, the harmonious balance of citrus peel, angelica root, wormwood, and black cumin shines in this lovely sipping amaro. Try it on the rocks, with tonic water, or in a White Negroni.
Bitter aperitivo liqueur produced by Iseya Distillery in Sagamihara, Japan. Made with 30 estate-grown and locally sourced botanicals featuring angelica root, chicory, licorice, wormwood, black cumin, bergamot, and blood orange peel. Botanicals are macerated in neutral sugarcane spirit & rested in oak barrels before bottling. Earthy on the nose with aromas of angelica root, Earl Grey tea, and bright lemon peel; the palate bursts with alpine herbs along with cacao, grapefruit, rosemary, and chicory, finishing with orange peel, dandelion root, and pine sap. Naturally colored using cochineal insect dye (so not vegan)
