Ichiro's Malt Chichibu 2023 US Limited Edition Single Malt Japanese Whisky (700 ml)

This whiskey is a US exclusive limited edition single malt Japanese whisky distilled from 100% unpeated malted barley. Its fermented for 100 hours in Mizunara Oak Washbacks. Its aged 4-7 years in a combination of Taransaud T5 French Oak, Mizunara Hogshead, sherry and chibi daru.

The 2023 release features a new label that fancifully depicts US Commondore Matthew Perry - a key figure in the United States rapport with Japan in the 19th century. He is enjoying a dram in Washington D.C. , surrounded by the cherry blossom trees gifted by former Tokyo Mayor Yukio Ozaki and pioneering chemist Dr. Jokichi Takamine in 1909.
