Springbank 15 year Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700 ml)

Springbank’s gentle giant. This dram is big and bold with notes of cured meat, barbecued beef jerky, clove, mint, iodine, oxo cube and tinned prunes all evident from the Oloroso cask maturation, while lobster creels hint at Springbank’s characteristic maritime influence.

The peaty character is now evident with sooty kiln smoke and tobacco leaves prominent in this viscous tipple alongside prunes, walnuts, figs, Demerara sugar, cocoa powder and smoked meats.

The finish grows and develops with notes of soot, leather and walnuts prominent before easing off like the ebbing tide over one of Kintyre’s pebble beaches.

Red Spot Irish Whiskey (750 ml)

Red Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey has matured for over 15 years in a combination of American Bourbon casks, Spanish sherry butts and Sicilian Marsala wine casks, all contributing in rich and complex flavours, making it the top spot in the range.

Nose

Pot Still spices with rich cooked fruit, baked apple, mango and black cherry. Hazelnut and a touch of new leather fuse with toasted American Oak.

Taste

A mix of ripe fruit sweetness from the Marsala seasoned wine casks. While the fruit remains, sweet red pepper and cracked black pepper add some spiciness, finished by notes of American Oak and barley.

Finish

An extra long infusion of fruits and spices.

First distilled in 1973, Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt produced at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character. As this whisky is not chill filtered a natural haze may form when it is cold but this will disappear when the temperature returns to normal.

A single cask bottling of Longrow Aged 21 Years exclusively bottled for US Market. 1 of 222 bottles from a fresh rum barrel. A recent addition to the Longrow range, the 21 year old is a limited annual release. The predominant sherry maturation of our most recent release complements the smoky character.
